PROJECT ASSURANCE

Project Assurance can be used to plot how a project is positioned at any point in its lifecycle, determine how well it’s tracking to its original goals, assess the quality and suitability of governance structures and processes, and realign the project to the underlying business needs.

Project Assurance blends proven review processes with a highly skilled team of project professionals to produce an accurate and objective assessment of project health, and a practical plan of action to help guide successful project delivery.

Project Assurance, unlike a Project Audit, has a constructive focus on promoting project success rather than simply identifying problems.

Proton’s Project Assurance packages include:

  • Project Assurance Reviews

  • Project Health Checks

  • Set up for Success

  • Implementation Readiness

  • Post-implementation Reviews

FAQ

What is the purpose of Project Assurance?

The purpose of Project Assurance is to objectively assess the condition or state of a project or program. If a project is running well, Project Assurance will help identify and capitalise on the project’s strengths and ensure that the right controls are in place to avoid problems occurring in the future. If a project is off-track, Project Assurance will determine how far off track it is, identify what has taken it off track, and define a restoration program to put it back on course to achieve its outcomes. If a project is considered to be beyond saving, Project Assurance will help identify the opportunities for full or partial recovery (or salvage) and will determine alternative courses of action for the organisation.

What is your approach?

Our position is objective and balanced, without assumptions or preconceptions. We offer a non-threatening approach, maintaining close engagement with the project throughout the review. Proton's Assurance model is designed to achieve acceptance by building and maintaining trust with the project team, and producing results that help the project team achieve the outcome they need. Our Reviews include positive observations as well as specific recommendations and action plans.

What types of Reviews do you offer?

Proton offer various review types and levels, which can be re-scaled and tailored to meet specific needs. Please contact us for more information.

What techniques and tools are used?

Proton’s Assurance packages include: detailed questionnaires, interview guides, review navigation guides, analysis templates, reporting templates, as well as Proton's Project Profiling and Risk Assessment tools.
